Construction

Look at the some of the models we have made.

Heritage Day

For Heritage Day the country that we talked about was Somalia. We looked at the land and the villages on the internet.
We found out that it is a very hot country.
The flag is pale blue with a white star in the middle.
Do you like our tops?
Barnaby had an outfit made for him. He looks very smart.
We all wore blue and white.
In the afternoon there was a parade around the playground. We waved the flags we had made. Barnaby came with us.

We had a fun day and learnt about another country.

Biscuit decorating

We talked about rainbows and the different colours that you can see in them.
Next we chose the colours we wanted to use to decorate our biscuits. The icing was in tubes.

Look how hard we concentrated.

To make the icing come out of the tube you had to squeeze very hard.

Do you like mine?

Gardening area - digging up the carrots!

Last year the Nursery children planted carrot seeds. The children were responsibile for looking after them and they have now grown in to carrots. Last week the children learned about harvest and the school visited the church to celebrate harvest festival. This week some of the foundation stage children decided that it was time to harvest the carrots and a group of them dug them up. This is what happened.

We have taken photographs of our favourite places and activities.
We enjoy drawing and colouring.
We use our imagination.
What can we dress up as today?
The slide is very popular.
