We have been on a sound walk and created our own musical instruments. We then performed a rhythmn using them. Here are there performances.

POP ART

This Term we have looked at the famous modern artist Andy Warhol. We used his influence to create our own works of Art.
Take a look at some...
Can you guess who it is?

Sponsored Event for 'Discover Storytelling'

To help us raise money for this fantastic company to visit Fairlop and share stories with our Nursery and Reception classes, we held a sponsored Fancy Dress walk and a Dance Off!

Nursery children wore their fancy dress and walked around the school field and Reception Classes did a dance off in the playground. Unfortunately, you will see from our short clip that we did not get to record all the event on video, so if any parents have film that we can use, please let Mrs Skinner (ICT Teacher) know!

Thanks to all the parents who attended and did so well in raising such a wonderful amount in sponsorship - we couldn't have done it without you! Watch our blogs to see how the children enjoy the storytelling event in the summer term.

Chinese New Year

The children tried to use chopsticks to pick up beans. They concentrated. They tried and tried and eventually . . .
We have been celebrating the Chinese New Year.

We made fans.

Wrote Chinese numbers and letters.

Used chopsticks. This was hard but we tried and tried and managed it eventually!
